the values which have a fixed value such as the numbers are called constant.
the values such as the alphabets whose values can vary and are not fixed are called variables.

Variable : A variable is denoted by a Letter of English alphabet and that can take any value .

  • Example : x, y, a, b, z, c, etc

Constant : The Values of constant remain same throughout the Situation i.e value of constant doesn't change in a problem

  • Example : 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc
