Given: AC = 16 cm and Area of rhombus ABCD = 96 cm2

⇒ BD × 8 cm = 96 cm2

Now in right ∆ AOD

AD2 =AO2 + DO2 = (8 cm)2 + (6 cm)2 = 64 cm2+ 36 cm2 = 100 cm2

Hence perimeter of rhombus = 4 × AD = 4 × 10 cm = 40 cm
