The area of a rhombus is 184cm^2 and its perimeter is 64cm.find its altitude

Perimeter of rhombus = 4 × side = 64 cm
side = 64÷ 4 = 16 cm
Area of rhombus = base × altitude = 184 cm^2
altitude = 184÷ 16 = 11.5cm

 = 4 \times s
 =  > 4s = 64 \\  =  > s = 16cm.



Area of Rhombus
 = b \times h = s \times h \\  =  > s \times h = 184 \\  =   > h =  \frac{184}{s} =  \frac{184}{16} \\  =  >  Altitude \: of \: rhombus = 11.5 {cm}^{2}.
