the area of a rhombus is 240 cm and one of the diagonal is 16 cm find other diagonal

Given that Area of the rhombus = 240cm.

Given that One of the diagonal d1= 16cm.

We know that Area of the rhombus = 1/2 * d1 * d2

                               240 = 1/2 * 16 * d2

                               240 = 8 * d2

                              240/8 = d2

                              30 = d2.


Therefore the other diagonal = 30cm.

given: area of rhombus= 240cm
d1= 16cm
area of rhombus= 1/2×d1×d2
240cm= 1/2×16×d2
240cm= 8× d2
240cm÷8=d2
30cm = d2
