Solution

Given:-

  • Atea of rhombus = 260 cm²
  • One diagonal be = 26 cm

Find ;-

  • other diagonal of rhombus

Explanation

Using Formula,

\dag\boxed{\underline{\tt{\red{\:Area_{Rhombus}\:=\:\dfrac{(d'\times d")}{3}}}}}

Where,

  • d' = First Diagonal of Rhombus
  • d" = second Diagonal of Rhombus

Keep all above Values,

==> 260 = 26 × d"/2

==> 260/26 = d²/2

==> d"/2 = 10

==> d" = 10 × 2

==> d" = (10×2)

==> d" = 20

Hence

  • Second diagonal will be = 20 cm

Answer:

Other diagonal is 20cm.

Explanation :

We know that,

Area of a rhombus = ½ • p • q

Where,

‘p' and ‘q’ denotes the diagonals of the rhombus.

And the area is 260cm² (given)

According to the question :

→ 260 = ½ • 26 • q

→ 260 = 13 • q

→ 260/13 = q

→ 20 = q

Therefore, the other diagonal is 20cm.
