Solution :-

Length of the perpendicular = 25 cm

Area of triangle = 100 cm²

Length of the other side or base = ?

Area of triangle = 1/2*Base*Height

⇒ 100 = 1/2*Base*25

⇒ Base = (100*2)/25

⇒ Base = 200/25

⇒ Base = 8 cm

So, length of base is 8 cm

Area of right triangle = A = 100 cm²
Length of the perpendicular = h = 25 cm
Length of the other side = b = ?
Solution:
We know that,
Area of triangle = (base) (Height) / 2
A = bh/2
b = 2A/h
b = 2 (100) / 25
b = 200/25
b =  8 cm
which shows that the length of the other side is 8 cm
