Ans.........
Area of triangle =1/2×base×height
6=1/2×3×h
h=12/3=4m
then third side of triangle =======
by Pythagoras theorem,
16+9=third side square
then,
third side=5

Given - Area and base

Find - Two sides of the right triangle

Solution - The height of right angled triangle is 4 centimetres and the hypotenuse is 5 centimetres.

The area of the right angled triangle is given by the formula - 1/2 * base * height

The formula is to be used to find the hypotenuse of the triangle.

Firstly finding height -

6 = 1/2*3*height

Height = 6*2/3

Height = 4 centimetres

Secondly finding hypotenuse -

Hypotenuse² = 3² + 4²

Hypotenuse² = 9 + 16

Hypotenuse² = 25

Hypotenuse = ✓25

Hypotenuse = 5 centimetres

The height is 4 centimetres and the hypotenuse is 5 centimetres.
