Area = 65 1/4 = 261/4 sq m

Given breadth = 5 7/16 = 87/16 m

Now we know that area = length x breadth.

So, 261/4 = 87/16 x length
Length = 261/4 x 16/87
Length = 3 x 4 = 12 m

So required answer is 12 m.

Hello !

Area = 65 1/4 = 261/4 m²

Breadth = b =  5 7/16 = 87/16 m

Area = length x breadth.

So,

261/4 = 87/16 × length

Length = 261/4 × 16/87

Length = 3 x 4
            = 12 m

Length of the room is 12 metres
