The area of a square and a rectangle are equal. If its side of a square is 18cm and the leangth of the rectangle is 36cm, find the breadth of rectangle . Also, find the perimater of the rectangle

Area of ractangle and square are equal (given that)

Area of square= side×side

=18×18

=324

Area of square= area of ractangle=324

Then,

Length of ractangle=36

Let breadth of ractangle= x

Area of ractangle

=length×breadth

324= 36×x

X= 324/36

X=9

Then breadth of ractangle= x= 9
