the area of a square and a rectangle are equal .If the side of the square is 16 cm aand the length of the rectangle is 32 cm .Find the breadth of the rectangle.

Area of square=(Side)²

Area=16×16=256cm²

Area of square=Area of rectangle

Given length of rectangle=32cm

Area of rectangle=Length×Breadth

256c=32×Breadth

256÷32=Breadth

8cm=Breadth
