Answer: Area of square = Area of rectangle

side² = Area of rectangle

40² = Area of rectangle

80 cm² = Area of rectangle

Area of rectangle = 80

l × b = 80

l × 25 = 80

l = 80/25

l = 16/5 cm

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

= 2(16/5+25)

= 2(16+125/5)

= 2(141/5)

= 282/5

= 56.4 cm

Given

\bold{Area \ of \ square \ and \ rectangle \ are \ equal}

\bold{Length \ of \ the \ square} = 40 \ cm

\implies \bold{Area \ of \ the \ square} = \bold{Side \times side}\\\implies 40 \times 40\\\implies 1600 \ cm^{2}

\bold{Breadth \ of \ the \ rectangle} = 25 \ cm

\implies \bold{Area \ of \ the \ rectangle} = \bold{Length \times Breadth}

Let the length of the rectangle be x.

\implies 25x=1600

\implies x = \dfrac{1600}{25}

\implies x =64

Therefore. the length of the rectangle is 64 cm

\bold {Perimeter \ of \ the \ rectangle} = \bold{2(Length+Breadth)}

= 2(64+25)\\= 2 \times 89\\= 178 \ cm

\boxed{\boxed{\bold{Therefore, \ the \ perimeter \ of \ the \ rectangle \ is \ 178 \ cm}}}}}}}
