Answer:

area =s2

s2=63504

s=√63504

s=252

side of the square = 252 m

perimeter= 4s

252×4

=1008m

=1.008km

time = distance /speed

1.008/26.88

=0.0375 hr

Concept Introduction:

Area of square is a^{2} and perimeter of square is given by 4a.

Given: The area of a square field is 63504 metre square.

To Find:

We have to find the value of, time taken by the man to cycle one round.

Solution:

According to the problem,

Area of a square field is 63504 m^2.

∴ Side of square will be \sqrt{63504} =252m

Perimeter of the field is 4a=4*252=1008m=1.008km

∴ Time taken by the man to complete one round is 1.008/26.88=0.0375hr=2.25minutes.

Final Answer:

The value of time taken by the man to cycle one round is 2.25 minutes.
