Here is your answer.
Let the side of the square is x cm

Area of the square is 1024 sq.cm

Area of the square = {side}^{2}

x {}^{2} = 1024 \\ x = \sqrt{1024} \\ x = 32 \: cm
Now the length of the rectangle is 2x

= 2×32
= 64 cm

and breadth of the rectangle is = x -12

= 32- 12
= 20 cm

Ratio of the Length to breadth of the rectangle is

 = \frac{64}{20} \\ = \frac{16}{5} \\
Ratio is 16: 5

Option (C) 16:5 is your answer
