Area of square = 196 m^2
side^2 = 196 m^2
side = ±√196m^2
side = ±14 m

side can't be negative, so side = 14 m

Perimeter = 4×side

Perimeter =4 × 14

Perimeter = 52m

we have,
Area of a square = 196 squared metres
Therefore,
 measure \: of \: each \: side \: of \: the \: square  = \\\sqrt{196}  = 14m
hence, perimeter of the square = 4 × side = 4 × 14m = 56 m
