Given :

  • Area of square = 25 cm²

To find :

  • Perimeter of square

Formula used :

 \rm A =  {a}^{2}

 \rm P = 4 \times a

Where :-

  • A = area of square
  • a = length of each side of square
  • P = perimeter of square

Solution :

Area of square is = 25 cm²

Let length of each side of square be x.

Therefore , according to the question :-

=> A = a²

=> 25 = x²

=> √(25) = x

> 5 cm = x

length of each side of square = 5 cm

Now , we will find perimeter of square :-

=> P = 4 × a

=> P = 4 × 5

=> P = 20 cm

Answer :

  • Perimeter of square = 20 cm
