Step-by-step explanation:

ar. of square= area of rectangle

 {40cm}^{2}  = l \times b \\  {40cm}^{2}  = l \times 25cm \\ l =  \frac{40 {cm}^{2} }{25cm}  \\   \:  \:  \:   = 1.6cm

perimeter= 2(l+b)

= 2(1.6+25)cm

= 2(26.6)cm

=53.2cm

Solution

side of the square is=40cm

area=40² cm²

therefore the area of the rectangle is =40² cm²

now .

the length of the rectangle is

=area/breadth

=(40²/25)cm

=64cm

perimeter of the rectangle is

=2(64+25)cm

=89×2

=178cm
