Let area of square be x^2

and here x^2=49

x=+-7

since length can't be negative so a=7

and we know that

perimeter of  rectangle = perimeter  as square(.given)

length of rectangle =9.3(given)

perimeter of square =4x (where x is the length of side)

plugging in the values

and perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b) where l is length and b is breadth

we get

4x = 2( l + b )

plugging in the given values we get

4*7=2(9.3+b)

28=18.6+2b

28-18.6=2b

9.4/2=b

b=4.7

area=l*b

=4.7*9.3

4.7 * 9.3 = 43.71

hence 49>43.71

so square has more area
