the area of a square of a side 60cm is equal to the area of a triangle. if the height of the triangle is 120cm, find it base

Since Area of square = Area of Triangle

=) side^2 = 1/2 * b* h

=) 60^2 = 1/2 * b * 120cm

=) 3600*2/ 120 cm = b

=) 60cm = b.

Hence base is 60cm .

s^2=1/2.b.h =»(60)^2=1/2.b.120=»b=3600/60=60cm
