Area of the trapezium =21×(sumofparallelsides)×h

138=21×(sum)×12

sum=6138=23

∴a+b=23−−−−−−−(1)

Now the difference is given,

a−b=7−−−−−−−(2)

Adding equation (1) and (2)

2a=30

a=15

∴b=8
