Area of trapezium
= ½(sum of parallel sides)(altitude)

Here, area=176cm²;sum of parallel sides=10+x; altitude=8cm

By substituting we get,
176 = ½(10+x)8
176 = (10+x)4
44 = 10+x
x = 34

i.e., length of the other side is 34cm

Given that,

Area of trapezium is 176square cm

Height is 8cm

one of the side is 10

according to the question,

1/2 ( 10+b) 8 is equal to 176
(10+b) is equal to 176/ 4

(10+b) is equal to 44

b is equal to 44-10
b is equal to 34.

Therefore, the other side is 34cm
