Area of trapezium=1/2× sum of parallel sides × height
Therefore,
300=1/2×(a+b)×15
A+b= 40m eqn 1
And we know difference between the sides is 16m
a-b= 16. Eqn 2
Adding 1 and 2
A=28 and b=12
Therefore,
300=1/2×(a+b)×15
A+b= 40m eqn 1
And we know difference between the sides is 16m
a-b= 16. Eqn 2
Adding 1 and 2
A=28 and b=12
