Let the distance between them is 'x' cm.

Given that Area of trapezium is 440 cm^2.

Given that lengths of parallel sides are 30 cm and 14 cm.

We know that Area of trapezium = (1/2) * (Sum of parallel sides) * (Distance)

⇒ 440 = (1/2) * (30 + 14) * (x)

⇒ 880 = 44x

⇒ 880/44 = x

⇒ x = 20 cm.

Therefore, distance between them is 20 cm.

Hope it helps!

here is your answer OK dude Given

Area of a trapezium = 1/2 * (altitude) * (sum of parallel sides)

234 = 1/2 * (altitude) * 52

234 = 26 * (altitude)

Therefore, altitude = 234/26 = 9..... so, altitude = 9.
