What would be the ratio of chromosome number between an egg and it's zygote? How is the sperm genetically different from the egg ?

The chromosome ratio between an egg and its zygote will be 1:2. Sperm is a male gamete and may consist of X or Y chromosome whereas an egg consists of only X chromosome.
