AREA OF TRAPEZIUM=1/2 × (SUM OF PARALLEL SIDES) × HEIGHT.

GIVEN,

AREA =480cm²

HEIGHT=15cm

ONE OF THE PARALLEL SIDE= 20cm

LET THE OTHER SIDE BE x.Then,

1/2 × (20+x) × 15 = 480

=>20+x=(480×2)/15

=>20+x=64

=>x=64‐20

=>x=44

HENCE THE LENGTH OF THE REQUIRED SIDE IS 44cm.
