area of trapezium =
 \frac{1}{2}  \times (a + b) \times h
putting the values given in the question,
 \frac{1}{2}  \times (8 + b) \times 6 = 54 \\ (8 + b) =  \frac{54}{6}  \times  \frac{2}{1}  \\ (8 + b) = 18 \\ b = 10
second side will be of 10 cm

Heya mate !!

Here is your answer :--
__________________________

Area of trapezium = 54 cm

And height = 6 cm

Lenght of one parallel side = 8 cm
__________________________

● Let the length of other parallel side be = " x " cm.

Then, according to the question :--

Area of trapezium = 1/2 ( sum of the parallel side ) ( distance between them )

By putting values,

======> 1/2 ( 8 + x ) × 6 cm

======> 1/2 ( 48 + 6x ) cm

======> 24 + 3x

● But the area of trapezium = 54 cm

So, we get :--

======> 24 + 3x = 54

======> 3x = 30

======> x = 10

● So, the length of the other parallel side will be 10 cm.
