Let a , b are two parallel sides

of a trapezium.

a:b = 2:1

Let a = 2x ,

b = x ,

h = 20cm

and

Area = 720 cm²

=> [(a+b)h]/2 = 720cm²

=> [(2x+x)×20]/2 = 720

=> 3x*10 = 720

=> x = 720/(3×10)

=> x = 24

Therefore,

Required two parallel sides are,

a = 2x = 2 × 24 = 48 cm

b = x = 24 cm
