Soln:

Let length of parallel side = 2x and x

Now,

Area of trapezium = 720 cm²

=>1/2 × h(a+b) = 720 cm²

=> 1/2 × 20(2x + x) = 720

=> 10 (2x + x) = 720

=> 30x = 720

=> x = 24

Then,

x = 24

and,

2x = 2 × 24 = 48

Hence, the length of the parallel sides = 24 cm and 48 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Area = 720

750 =1/2(2m×m)×2

3m = 72

m= 24
