Answer:12 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of trapezium= (sum of parallel sides)xh/2

hence 88= (10+x)8/2 = (10+x)/4

88/4 = 10+x

22=10+x

x = 22-10 = 12

HOLA MATE

HERE'S UAH ANSWER

Area of trapezium:

 \frac{1}2 \times (b1 + b2) \times h

SO, HERE

AREA=88cm^2

HEIGHT=8cm

B1=10cm

B2=?

 \frac{1}2 \times (10 + b2) \times 8 = 88

 \frac{1}2(10 + b2) =  \frac{88}{</strong><strong>8</strong><strong>}</strong><strong>

 \frac{1}2(10 + b2) = </strong><strong>1</strong><strong>1</strong><strong>

10 + b2 = </strong><strong>1</strong><strong>1</strong><strong> \times 2

10 + b2 = </strong><strong>2</strong><strong>2</strong><strong>

b2 = </strong><strong>2</strong><strong>2</strong><strong>- 10

b2 = </strong><strong>1</strong><strong>2</strong><strong>cm

Thanks
