Given:–

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• Area of trapezium is 91cm²

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ • Height of the trapezium is 7cm

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• Length of diagonal of a triangle ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ is 12cm.

To find:–

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• Lengths of the two parallel ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎sides.

Formula used:–

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• Area of trapezium = 1×(a+b)× h/2

where,

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• a = parallel side

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• b = parallel side

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• h = height

Step by step explaination:–

As we know the area of trapezium so by using the given formula and now evaluating values in that formula.

According to the question we are taking the length of one parallel side as a+8.

91 = 1(a+(a+8)×7 / 2

91 = (2a + 8)×7 / 2

91×2 / 7 = 2a+8

26 = 2a+8

2a = 26-8

2a = 18

a = 18/2

a = 9 cm

Now we have to calculate value of second parallel side.

Let's evaluate value quickly!!

a + 8

9 + 8

17 cm

Answer:–

The length of two parallel sides is 9cm and 17cm
