the area of a Trapezium is 96 cm square and its height is 8 cm if one of the parallel sides is longer than the other by 6cm then the length of the longer parallel side is​

Let one side be X cm

and other is (x+6) cm.

area of trapezium=1/2× x+(x+6)×8

96=4×(2x+6)

96=8x+2x

8x=96-24

x=72/8

x=9.

hence longer side =x+6

=9+6=15cm
