the area of a Trapezium is 98 CM square and its height 7 cm if one of the parallel side 6 CM longer than the other find the length of the parallel side​

other be (x+6)cm

we know that area of trapezium = 1÷2( sum of parallel sides) ×height

                                                98 =1÷2( x+ x+6)×7

                                                98 =1÷2( 2x + 6)× 7

                                              98 =1÷2×2(x +3) ×7

                                                98 =7x+ 21

                                            98-21 = 7x

                                             77= 7x

                                             11=x

length of one parallel side is 11 cm and length of other one is (11+ 6) cm= 17 cm.
