30 sq.cm is the area of the parallelogram ADEF.

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a triangle ABC is 60 sq.cm.

E is the midpoint of BC

D is the midpoint of AC

F is the midpoint of AB

Area of triangle DEF=3 × Area of triangle FBE

To find the area of the ADEF,

D,E,F are mind points. Join them to make a triangle.

Now there are four triangles in the diagram.

Therefore we divide the given area by 4

Hence  \[\frac{1}{4}\times 60=15\]

Area of DEF is 15 sq.cm.

ADEF is a parallelogram,

It divided into 2 congruent triangle

Hence area of parallelogram is =15+15=30 sq.cm.
