Let base be b.

1/2*b*h=50cm^2

=1/2*b*8cm=50cm^2

b=50/4cm^2

b=12.5cm

The base of length of a triangle(b) is 12.5 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have,

The area of a triangle = 50 cm^2 and  the altitude of a triangle(h) = 8 cm

To find, the base of length of a triangle(b) = ?

We know that,

The area of a triangle = \dfrac{1}{2} × b × h

\dfrac{1}{2} × b × 8 = 50

b × 4 = 50

b=\frac{50}{4} cm

⇒ b = 12.5 cm

The base of length of a triangle(b) = 12.5 cm

Hence, the base of length of a triangle(b) is 12.5 cm.
