Answer:

we can easily calculate the area of triangle while its length of base and height / altitude is given.

ln this question we we have to find base while altitude and area is given so we can calculate it as:-

As we know that,

area \: of \:  \triangle =  \frac{1}{2} \times b \times h

Where b and h are length of base and height/altitude of triangle respectively.

Here given that,

area of  \triangle =50 {m}^{2}  \\ so, \\  \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h = 50 \\  \implies \: b \times h = 100 \\  \implies \: b  \times 8 = 100 \\  \implies b =  \frac{100}{8}  \\  \implies \bold{\blue{\boxed{\boxed{ b = 12.5m}}}}

Answer:

Area of a triangle ( Right) = 1/2 × altitude × base

50 = 1/2 × 0.08 × base

Base = 100 / 0.08

Base = 1250 cm or 12.5 m
