Hi there !!

We know,

Area of triangle

 \frac{1}{2}  \times base \:  \times height
Base = 15cm
Area = 92cm²
Let the altitude be 'h'

92 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 15 \times h
transposing 2 and 15 in LHS,
we have,

 \frac{92 \times 2}{15}  = h
h = 12.266666.. = 12.267 or 12.27cm

So,
the altitude is 12.27cm or 12.66cm

1/2bh=92
1/2(15)(h)=92
15h/2=92
15h=92×2
15h=184
h=184/15
h=12.2666cm
