So area of square,

=>4×30

=>120cm²

Area of Δ=1/2×base×height

Height is given 36cm

So,

=>1/2×base×36=120

=>28×base=120

=>base=120/28

=>base= 4.28571429cm

Hence the side of the triangle whose corresponding altitude is 36cm is

4.28571429cm.
