The area of a triangular billboard is 3125 sq.m. if its base is 2.5m long, what is its height.?

Hey...!,!

Area = 3125 sq m
Base = 2.5 m
So,
1/2 x Base x Height = Area
1/2 x 2.5 x Height = 3125
1.25 x Height = 3125
Height = 3125/1.25
Height = 2500
So, Height = 2500 m

Area  \: of  \: triangle  \:  = 3125 \\  \\   =   \frac{1}{2}  \:  \times b \times  \: h =  \: 3125 \\  \\  =  \frac{25}{10} \times h \:  = 3125 \times 2 \\  \\  = h \:  =  \frac{3125 \times 2 \times 10}{25 }  \\  \\ \:  =  \:  h  \:  =  \frac{3125 \times 4}{5}  \\  \\  = h \:  = 625 \times 4 \\  \\  =  h \:  =2500

Verification -

 \frac{1}{2}  \times 2.5 \times 2500 = 3125 \\  \\  = 3125 = 3125

Here LHS = RHS

Hence The height of the triangular billboard is 2500 m
