Answer:

height =6 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

formula of equilateral triangle is a²√3/4=12√3

a²=12×4√3/√3

a²=48

a=4√3

by Pythagoras property

h²=p²+b²

(4√3)²=p²+(2√3)² ( as we have to find height base is ÷by2)

48=p²+12

36=p²

p=6

Height =6 cm

Given :  The area of an equilateral triangle is 12√3 cm square.

To Find : height

Solution:

Area of Equilateral Triangle =  ( √3  / 4)  Side²

( √3  / 4)  Side² =  12√3

=> Side²   = 48

=> side = 4√3  cm

Area of triangle  = ( 1/2) * base * height

base   = 4√3  cm

=> (1/2)  4√3  * height  =   12√3

=> 2√3  * height  =12√3

=>  height  = 6 cm
