Answer: area of equilateral triangle is √3a²/4

∴ 1633= √3a²/4

∴ a² = 1633 x 4/√3

∴ a² = 6532/√3

∴ a = √6532/ √√3

Given:

✰ The area of an equilateral triangle = 1633 cm²

To find:

✠ The length of it's each side.

Solution:

Equilateral triangle

Equilateral triangle is the one in which all sides of the triangle are equal.

Here we are provided with the area of the equilateral triangle. By using the formula of area of equilateral triangle, we will find the length of its each side. Putting the values in the formula and then doing the required calculations.

Let's find out...✧

Area of a equilateral triangle = 3/4 ×

Where,

  • a is the length of each side of an equilateral triangle.

Putting the values in the formula, we have:

➤ 1633 = √3/4 × a²

➤ a² = 6533/√3

➤ a² = 6533/1.73 [ Take √3 = 1.73 ]

➤ a² = (6533 × 100)/173

➤ a = √(653300/173)

➤ a = √(653300/173)

➤ a = 61.45 cm

The length of each side of an equilateral triangle 61.45 cm
