Explanation:

In equilateral triangle - all sides are same

so, each side - x

then, area of triangle = 1/2b × h

2√3 = 1/2b×h

4√3 = b×h ( here b = h )

4√3 = x²

x = √(4√3)

x = 2×4^√3cm..

Given:-

  • An equilateral triangle of side = 2√3cm.

To find:-

  • Find it's area..?

Solutions:-

  • Let the area of triangle be x cm.

Area of equilateral triangle = √3/4 × (side)²

=> √3/4 × (side)² = x

=> √3/4 × 2√3 = x

=> 2 × 3 /4 = x

=> 6/4 = x

=> 3/2 = x

  • Hence, the area of equilateral triangle is 3/2.

Some Important:-

  • Base and height. A = 1/2 b × h (where b = base , h = height)

  • Three side . A = √s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c) (where a, b and c are the length of the side)

  • Two sides and including angle (where a, b and two sides and c is the angle between them.)

  • Equilateral triangle A = S² × √3/4 (where s = side).
