area of triangle=1/2*b*h
288=1/2*h^2
h^2=288/2=144
h=12

As we know, In isosceles right angled Triangle length of base and height are same.
So,
1/2*x*x = 288
x^2 = 576
x= 24 cm.
Now, Hypotenuse = √(576+576)= 24√2 cm.
