the area of curved surface area of a cone is 80 pi cm^2 if the slant height of the cone is 12cm find the radius of base​

Curved surface area = 80π cm²

Slant height = 12cm

find : Radius

we know that,

πrl = Curved surface area of cone

π × r × 12 = 80π

r =  \frac{80\pi}{12\pi}

r =  \frac{20}{3}

Verification:

\pi \:  \times  \frac{20}{3}  \times 12 = 80\pi

\pi \:  \times 80 = 80\pi

LHS = RHS

hence verified
