★ The area of four walls of a hall is 266 sq.m and the Length and Breadth of the hall is 12 m and 7 m respectively. Find the Height of the wall

Given:

  • Area of hall is 266 m²
  • Length of four walls of hall is 12 m
  • Breadth of four walls of hall is 7 m

To Find:

  • Height of the hall

Solution: Let the Height of the hall be h m

We know that Area of four walls of a room = 2 ( Length + Breadth) Height

\small\implies{\sf } 266m² = 2 ( 12 + 7 ) h

\small\implies{\sf } 266m² = 2 ( 19)h

\small\implies{\sf } 266 = 38h

\small\implies{\sf } 266/38 = h

\small\implies{\sf } 7m = Height

Hence, The Height of the wall is h = 7 m
