The area of four walls of a room is 144m2 if the length of the room is thrice its breadth and the height is 3m find the area of the floor

let....  \\ breadth \: = b \: m\\ length = l \: m= 3 \times b = 3b \: m \\ height = h \: m \:  = 3 \: m

area \: of \: four \: walls = 144 \: sq.m \\  2h(l + b) = 144 \\ 2(3)(3b + b) = 144 \\ 6(4b) = 144 \\ 4b =  \frac{144}{6 }  \\ 4b = 24 \\ b = 6 \: m

l = 3 \: b \\ l = 3(6) \\ l = 18 \: m

area \: of \: the \: floor \:  = l \times b \\  = 18 \times 6 \\ =  108 \: sq.m
