Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

Area of floor = 78.125 m^2

● Explanation -

Area of 4 walls of room is given by -

Area of 4 walls = h (2l + 2b)

Let x be breadth of the room. Then length of room is 2x.

Area of 4 walls = h (2×2x + 2x)

150 = 4 (4x + 2x)

150 = 4 × 6x

150 = 24x

x = 150 / 24

x = 6.25 m

Area of the floor is given by -

Area of floor = l × b

Area of floor = 2x × x

Area of floor = 2×6.25 × 6.25

Area of floor = 78.125 m^2

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
