Answer :

Base ( AB ) = 30m

Height ( AC ) = 40m

Step-by-step Explanation :

Given : Area of Triangle = 600 m²

Ratio of the sides forming the right angle is 3:4

To find : length of Side's =. ?

( Please see attached document for the diagram)

In the figure AB : AC = 3 : 4

Let AB and AC be 3x and 4x,

Area of Triangle = 1/2 × base × height

Area of Triangle = 1/2 × AB × AC

Substituting the value in above formula we get,

Area of Triangle = 1/2 × 3x × 4x

600 = 1/2 × 12x²

600 = 6x²

x² = 600/6 = 100

x = 10

Base ( AB ) = 3x = 3×10 = 30m

Height (AC ) = 4x = 4 × 10 = 40m
