In given figure parallelogram ABCD and parallelogram ABEF are lies between same parallel lines and having same base AB.

• • Area of ||gm ABCD = Area of ||gm ABEF.

=> In ||gm ABEF

=> AB = b = 4.2cm and FP = h

=> Area of the ||gm ABEF = b × h.

36 = 4.2 × h

h = 36/4.2 = 8.57cm

Height of ||gm ABEF is 8.57cm.
