the area of parallelogram and a square are the same if the perimeter of a square is 160 m and the height of parallelogram is 20 metre find the length of corresponding base of the parallelogram​

Answer:

Perimeter of square = 4a = 160 m

4a = 160

a = 40 m

Side of the square is 40 m

It is given that area of parallelogram = area of square

bh = a²

b × 20 = 40²

b = 40 × 40 / 20

b = 80 m

Base of the parallelogram is 80 m
