The area of parallelogram and square are the same . If the perimeter of square is 160m and the height of the parallelogram is 20m . Find the length of the corresponding base of the parallelogram .​

Perimeter of square = 4× side

perimeter= 160= 4×side

> 160/4= side

> 40m= side

Taking out the Area of the square

Area= side*side or side²

> 40×40

> 1600m²

ATQ

Area of Square = Area of Parallelogram

Therefore,

1600m²= b×20

1600÷20=b

80m=b

The value of Corresponding base= 80 m
