Required Solution :

→ 3 cm

Given :

• Area of parallelogram = 30 cm²

• Base = 10 cm

To calculate :

• Length of altitude

Calculation :

Let the altitude be "h".

As we know that :

 \boxed{\sf{Area \: of \: \parallel gram = base \times altitude}}

But according to the question :

➝ 30 cm² = ( 10 × h ) cm²

 \dfrac{30}{10} cm= h

➝ 3 cm= h

Therefore, altitude of the parallelogram is 3 cm.

Justification:

Let us substitute the values in LHS and RHS to justify the answer.

As we know that :

 \boxed{\sf{Area \: of \: parallelogram = base \times altitude}}

➝ 30 cm² = ( 10 × 3 ) cm²

➝ 30 cm² = 30 cm²

LHS = RHS

                       Hence, verified!
